Shanti People is a music band that mix EDM (electronic dance music) with Vedic Mantras.
Shanti People had played at the various World festivals: Sunburn Festival, Ozora, World Trance Winter, Summer Never Ends, GogolFest, Kvammanga, Veda Life, Inne Brzmienia, Radhadesh Summer Holi Festival, Hedonism, Eurovision Village Kyiv, Xperience Festival as well as solo live shows in Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, India etc.
Their tracks are being played on Armin van Buuren's radioshow - A State of Trance, Psy-nation Radio hosted by Liquid Soul & Ace Ventura and Dreamstate Radio by Vini Vici.
A fusion of ancient Mantras and contemporary electronic sound does attract a lot of very different people around the world.
The increasing popularity of Mantra music let Shanti People to become a really trendy project, since they have everything for that: an original material, catchy vocal, massive groove and dedication to everything they do.
The band gets inspired by traveling, by the best music practices in India and by the sources of Vedic culture, where the music is considered as a holy sound and is being practiced as a meditation to higher reality, displayed here and now.
Uma, the front-woman: «Mantras do not only eliminate the worries and bring the peacefulness to the mind and heart, but also help to understand the nature of the consciousness, which is the most important thing in the practice of self-realization. In our music we try to express our knowledge though the common language of electronic music. We are happy that we can share this treasure with our audience».
Shanti People are always about experiments. The latest results of those experiments are collaborations with electronic artists such as Billx (track ‘’Hands of Heart’’), Stryker & Eddie Bitar (track ‘’Asato’’, Iboga Records), Vini Vici (track ‘’Karma’’), Reality Test (track ‘’Passion’’, Armada sub-label), Droplex (track ‘’Mahishasura Mardini’’), Blazy & Gottinari (track ‘’Tandava’’, Alien Records).
Currently band is working on more ''FEATs'' with the world-known electronic artists, new EDM live show and a Vocal DJ Set format - a unique “Spiritual Rave’’ that will make you trip to the depth of your subconscious.
People should dance and sing at the concert.
Also they should leave it with the feeling of happiness and peacefulness in the heart.
Exactly for this magic Shanti People exist as a project.
